During the HIFU Facelift, the ultrasound beams penetrate the skin and converge at depths of 1.5mm, 3.0mm, and 4.5mm. These correspond with the three levels of skin. When the beams converge under the skin, they create a minuscule source of heat. The thermal energy works to encourage the growth and repair of collagen, a protein that is found in the skin. By doing this, the skin is tightened, giving your face a smoother and firmer appearance. Therefore, this treatment is ideal for reducing signs of ageing such as crow’s feet, frown lines, and wrinkles.

Our HIFU Facelift procedure takes between 30 to 90 minutes, depending on how many areas of the face you want to target. An applicator releases HIFU onto the areas of the face that are appropriate for each level of ultrasound. The treatment is not usually painful. However, you may feel some discomfort when the ultrasound is emitted into the skin. If this is the case, your practitioner can lower the intensity of the ultrasound so that the treatment is as relaxing as possible!​
